SHOP HOP 2008 UPDATE |

|

Shop Hop 2008 was a huge
success! We hope you had as much
fun as we did! It seems not even
the high price of gas will keep quilters
from doing what they do best - shop and
have fun!
Some Shop Hop stats: We
gave out 2,300 packets, 540
passports, and 121 passports were turned
in to our shop. |

By Sunday evening, our map of the US was
"dotted" with pins, and "sticky notes"
clung to the edges, handwritten by
quilters who visited from Guam, Holland,
Israel, and Nova Scotia. US visitors
came from California, Oregon,
Washington, Idaho, Montana, Nevada,
Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas,
Kansas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska,
Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana,
Arkansas, Louisiana, |

SEW-FUN SUMMER CAMP |

Room for two more students!
We are offering fun classes for kids
this summer! Sew-Fun Summer
Camp is designed for kids 8 to
11 years old, each session is two hours.
Session B, sew
an easy pillow, then decorate it with
rick-rack or yo-yo's. Session
C, choose a charm pack to make a quilt
top. Each class is $20. For

AURIFIL THREAD |

Our Aurifil thread has
arrived. This100% cotton thread
from Italy can be used for piecing,
machine quilting, and hand appliqué.
It glides wonderfully through fabric.
We are carrying the 50-weight thread,
$4.65 per spool (220 yards, 200 meters). |

at Country Village. There will be
at least five produce vendors this year,
selling fresh fruits and vegetables, as
well as colorful bouquets of flowers.
