Quilting 101: Absolute Beginner

If you have been wanting to learn how to quilt and would like to start with a quick and easy project, this is the class for you! Diane will start with a rotary cutting lesson, introducing you to the different rulers, mats, and rotary cutters available. We have extra sets of rotary equipment at the shop that you may use if you do not already own rotary equipment. (Or, you may purchase a blade, mat, and ruler at a 10% discount.) Then, Diane will have you on your way to cutting out your quilt and sewing blocks and rows together. The quilt pattern is from an Alex Anderson book, Super Simple Quilts. The book is included in the class fee. The finished quilt measures 40” x 52”. This promises to be a fun, low-stress class. Class size is limited to four students. This is a two-day class. Dates & time to be determined. Skill Level: Beginner.
